Trough Ivy House is situated immediately to the left of Alton Towers main gate. Visitors arriving by car should therefore follow the brown & white direction signs for Alton Towers. The nearest main line railway station is Stoke-on-Trent, though there is a branch line at Uttoxeter. A bus service is available from Hanley (Stoke City Centre) or Uttoxeter bus station.
